I was in Hollywood for a stretch and needed a guitar and pawn shop culture is not the same there as it is in the northwest so I found a plastic parlor guitar for $150 at the Guitar Center on Sunset. Total POS but I wrote a handful of good songs on it. I wrote this song in a cabin in Idyllwild for my girlfriend at the time. There is a fleshed out version but I think this one is where it is at. Rarely do you get to write a love song like this.
